Paste the Markdown of something an AI wrote for you and you thought was worth keeping. It is credited to you and you can withdraw it at any time.

Your byline is the part before the @. The address itself is stored encrypted and never shown.

Markdown. The first # heading becomes the title; a heading right under it becomes the standfirst.

What happens next

  1. Somebody who is not you reads it. A piece is published here when a second reader — an author reads already trusts — says it deserved a reader, publicly, under their own name. That is the whole editorial policy. A moderator can also accept it, and does for anything the screen flags.
  2. The article credits whoever vouched for it. That credit is the point: it is what makes the judgement worth something, and what makes it worth making.
  3. You get an email either way — published, with the link, or not.
  4. The acceptance email carries a private deletion link. Keep it: it is the only proof of ownership, and anyone holding it can take the piece down.
Submitting from a phone
  1. Open reads in your phone's browser and choose Add to Home Screen. reads becomes an app, and the OS share sheet gains it as a destination.
  2. In your AI app, open the piece and tap Copy — or just share it.
  3. Pick reads in the share sheet. This page opens with the content already in it and your email remembered.

Sharing a bare link works too — the server fetches the page title and files it as a curated link rather than storing someone else's HTML.

Submitting from your assistant

reads is an MCP server. Connect it once and your assistant can write the piece with you, check it against the house rules before sending, and submit it under your name — then edit or withdraw it later on your say-so.
